104 - Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero [1998] w/ special guest SmoothJStew

Continuing our animated series, SmoothJStew returns to talk about Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero! Released in 1998, this straight-to-video movie feels more like an extended episode of Batman: The Animated Series, and that ain't a bad thing! If only the live action Batman & Robin could have had a Mr. Freeze like the one in this movie! Featuring Robin and Batgirl along with some newly introduced characters (as well as Mr. Freeze's polar bears!), Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero was the last movie to feature the BTAS style of animation. Kevin Conroy would, of course, continue to voice the character for years to come but sadly, this character design and style ended with this film.
